Whatever it is that you are facing today, we are facing it too.
Oh, the names may be different, but a trial is a trial and we all have them – no one escapes them, they are part of life. When God said He had a plan for us and that He would take care of us, you have to believe with all your heart that He wouldn’t lie to you. And if you believe it… you have nothing to worry about.
But… you have to believe everything He said.
Trust means you believe when things are good and when they aren’t. You believe when you have questions and you don’t understand what is going on. It means you really believe when times get hard. There are levels of belief and the longer you live and the more trials you have, the stronger you need to believe what He has said. Your faith automatically grows as you continue to believe.
He said everything will be alright and that no one could really hurt you. He also said He knows the end from the beginning, therefore He is aware of everything that is ever going to happen to you. There is a great peace that becomes available to us when we believe what He has said.
Lord let us find hope in the phrase – “because You said so”.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
